Title: Training and workshop on the GEA models - Cyprus Ministry of Finance, November 7-9, 2007

A three day training course and workshop (7-9 Nov. 2007) on the GEA models was organized by the Public Administration and Personnel Department, Ministry of Finance in Cyprus. The department initiated a project to document more than 100 public services by the end of May 2008. The Governance Enterprise Architecture Public Administration Service (GEA PA Service) model is used for this task.

The derived public services’ descriptions may then be used for multiple national public sector projects like the Citizen Call Centre for PA Services and the central eGovernment Portal.

The goal of this first workshop has been to present the GEA methodology/tools and provide training to around 20 project team members (public servants). The GEA models have been developed in the context of the IST project SemanticGov (FP6-2004-IST-4-027517).
